Pain Management in Neonates & Mothers

Effective pain management is essential for improving comfort and recovery among mothers and newborns. This research examines pharmacological and non-pharmacological pain management strategies used during labor, delivery, and neonatal procedures. Evidence-based interventions such as skin-to-skin care, breastfeeding, and analgesic therapies significantly improved patient comfort and reduced stress responses. The study supports individualized pain management approaches in maternal and neonatal healthcare.
