Maternal Mental Health & Postpartum Depression
Maternal mental health significantly influences both maternal and infant outcomes during the postpartum period. This paper investigates the prevalence of postpartum depression, anxiety, and emotional stress among new mothers. Early psychological screening and nursing-led counseling interventions improved emotional well-being and maternal-infant bonding. The study emphasizes the importance of mental health support services within maternal healthcare systems.
