Dr. Jeff Xu, M.D., is a board certified anesthesiologist, Associate Professor of Anesthesiology, Chief, Division of Regional Anesthesia & Acute Pain Management, and Program Director of Regional Anesthesiology & Acute Pain Medicine Fellowship at Westchester Medical Center/New York Medical College (WMC/NYMC). Since founding the Regional Anesthesia Service in 2015, Dr. Xu has been pivotal in the education of anesthesia resident and the evolution of clinical policies at WMC. In 2016, he initiated the Regional Anesthesiology & Acute Pain Medicine Fellowship Program and served as the Program Director.Before he joined WMC/NYMC, as the Director of Regional Anesthesia & Acute Pain Services at Riverside Regional Medical Center (RRMC), VA, through his development of the Acute Pain Service and his time as chairman of Multidisciplinary Acute Pain Managing Committee, Dr. Xu dramatically increased the HCAHPS pain management satisfaction score from ~50% to 72% at RRMC.
